The goal is to stimulate the blood circulation to flow through the body’s meridians and allow the process of healing to restore the body to properly function.

According to the Center of Disease Control and Prevention, “PCOS is one of the most common causes of female infertility, affecting 6% to 12% (approximately 5 million) women in the United States”. Acupuncture is an applicable treatment for PCOS. It helps increase qi and blood flow to the ovaries, reduce ovarian cysts, decrease insulin levels, reduce cortisol levels, and assist in weight loss. Acupuncture is effective in regulating hormonal imbalance signs and symptoms of women with PCOS.
